HEATING & CONTROLS

Electrical work for
your heating system

Heating controls are a regular part of my work. I install and replace thermostats and controls, work on zoned heating systems and electric heaters, and investigate electrical faults affecting the heating.

If something is not working as expected, tell me what happens and which system or controller you have, if you know.

ABOUT PAUL

Meet Paul

I’m Paul, the electrician behind Darke Electrical. I started my apprenticeship in Ipswich in 2007, aged 16, and have worked on everything from house rewires and kitchen refurbishments to larger commercial and industrial projects.

I went self-employed in 2022, and since 2026 Darke Electrical has been my full-time focus. These days I mainly work on homes, renovations, extensions and new builds around Kesgrave, Ipswich and the surrounding area.

For me, the basics matter: turning up when I say I will, keeping the job tidy and being straightforward about costs and timescales. Outside work, I’m a husband and dad of two, an Ipswich Town supporter and a cricket fan.
